Application Techniques
Our Technicians are educated in the latest in installation applications. During your consultation, your technician will help decide the installation technique right for you and your life style. The application process can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours to complete. Once completed, this luxurious hair will be yours to wash, brush and style just as if it were your own.
Micro K-Tip Hair Extensions
Also known as Keratin Tip Hair Extensions, this Application is done by our seasoned technician Crystal Andrea. She has been applying keratin bonded hair extensions for over a decade. This application is bonded (not glued) with heat using a micro bonding technique. This application is best for those who are seeking a permanent solution to fine and thinning hair.
Due to the nature of this application, hair is able to be worn free from it’s base. Micro K-Tips are ideal for wearing up or down styles. This application is ideal for color treated hair that requires touch up. It is the only application that chemicals can be directly applied to the bond.
Care and maintenance is imperative for this application style. A fill will be done between 4-12 weeks, where as partial application will be removed and new hair will be filled. If cared properly, a full head will never have to be installed though the life time of the extensions.

MICRO I-TIP (BEADED) APPLICATION
Our Cushioned Polyurethane I-Tip application is done by Aubrey Dumont. She has dedicated herself in speed and precision in this technique. This beaded application is done without heat; each strand is looped though a bead with a looping tool and clamped into the hair.
Due to the nature of this application, hair is able to be worn free from its base. Micro I-Tips are ideal for wearing up or down styles.
Care and maintenance is imperative for this application style. A fill will be done between 4-12 weeks where a partial application will be removed and hair will be reused for the fill. If cared for properly a full head will never have to be installed though the life time of the extension wear.

TAPE-IN APPLICATION
Bellami’s Tape-In medical grade adhesive, Matte polyurethane coating over mesh application is known for speed and anti shed technology. This quick weft application is done by Kelly Korslund. A tape in weft application can take up to two hours. Each weft is taped and is reused for each replacement.
A Tape-In application is ideal for those who predominantly wear their hair down. These wefts are on a “hinge” which means they can only move up or down. When worn up it can be difficult to hide the tape. This type of installation will be completely removed and replaced every 6-8 weeks. During the reinstall, the tape will be a fresh application. The weft will be reused for up to a year.
This application is ideal for non color treated clients due to the inability to apply chemicals over the tape. These wefts are ideal for short term use such as special events or holidays.

Care and Maintenance
Each Bellami extension style are removed and cared for differently. K-tips and Tape-Ins require a removal solution were as I-Tips beads may be reused. Removal doesn't cause any damage to the hair. Natural hair will be longer and more luscious after removal because the extension hair protects the the natural strand as the extension is worn. Over time the strands will slide out on their own but can last up to 6 months. Up kept filled hair can last even longer with regular check-ups. We recommend a fill every one to three months.
For lasting results, it is imperative that extension application site is dried immediately after being wet or washed. Wet bonds can cause the strand to weaken and lose its integrity, shortening the duration of your locks’ life. Regular brushing from the bond down the length is recommended. This regular brushing helps make an easy transition as your hair naturally grows by making sure new strands don't tangle in the extension hair.
