Pre Wedding Check List

Be sure to consider mother of the bride and groom and any other picture prominent people on your guest list. Arrival of the photographer, number of bridesmaids, ceremony and reception play an important role in when the preparation for the day will begin.

Sometimes the brides will pay for all of the bridesmaids day of the wedding as a bridal gift. Other things to consider is the bride paying for a percentage of the services. it is important everyone has a consistent look for photos.

Please feel free to bring food and beverages for your party. We have space to accommodate breakfast basics and beverages. Alcohol may be brought by the bride for the party, as long as all beverages are self serve by the attending party. Tables for display of food and beverages are available upon request.

Photos last forever. It is important for the whole wedding party to have a consistent look and style. Photo hair and makeup is not everyday makeup, therefore, it looks out of place in photos.
Day Of Checklist

Hair should be DAY OLD DRY. If the hair is wet or dirtier than one day old, there will be a blowout fee added to the service price. Please have bridal party prepare photos of what they would like to wear for the day.

All guests must arrive with a clean, exfoliated and moisturized face. Each application must have their own mascara for sanitary purposes. We do have false lashes available for application.

Aside from mascara there is no need to bring another product with you. If you have a favorite highlighter, bronzer, lipstick, etc., feel free to bring it. All of the products we use are all natural and have found are safe for all skin types. The brands we use for photo makeup are Bodyography and Young Blood. Please note, our lipsticks are smudge proof.

Do not forget to bring any veils, crowns, flowers or hair accessories with you for the day. These items need to be placed before everyone leaves for the event to be sure they are dance proof.

Each guest needs go have a button down or step out style shirt, nothing to be pulled over the head (we’ve seen bridesmaids cut off tee shirts to avoid damaging their hair.) Absolutely no hoods, fluffy collars or fleecy materials. These items pull out even the most hairsprayed curl.
Post Wedding Check List

Hair will look soft, but it will be your own personal helmet for the day. We suggest to remove bobby pins and break elastics when the event s over. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BRUSH. Once pins and elastics are removed, wet and shampoo at least two times or until you get a rich later, then the hair will come free. Follow with conditioner and leave in before brushing.

Photography make up is heavy duty. We recommend using micellar water or an oil based remover to remove lashes and waterproof makeup. Do not pull off lashes. Wash, the lashes will come off with the rest of your makeup.

The cost of hair and makeup is discussed during your spacial occasion consultation. During this in person consultation, your master stylist will go over important details about your big day while taking in consideration the day and time, amount of guests and location of your services.

In the beauty industry, an up-do is done on day old, dry, dirty hair, using an iron and elastics or pins to fasten the finished look. In comparison, with a blowout the hair is washed in the salon. The freshly shampoo and conditioned hair is then styled with a blowdryer and brush; an iron may be used in this service for an additional fee.

This is complete up to you. Our professionals are experienced in natural and dramatic looks. We always find it helpful to see photos of your best day so we can get a feel of how you normally would do your hair or makeup.

Yes! We love being able to talk through your style, thoughts and feelings on everything to do with your big day… before the big day. Generally we do trials on brides only, but in the most recent years, MOB and Bridesmaids get the wedding day jitters too. It does help to work through those feels before the big day by scheduling a trial.

Yes, our wedding contract is mainly to note all the details of your wedding so you and our staff is on the same page and fully communicative. Your contract will require verbiage on cancelation, guest add-ons and down payments to hold your day.

Absolutely not. This day is about the bride, her personal requests and dreams about her day. We do not discuss details about planning, hair and make-up for the big day to any one else but the bride. Consultations will only be done with the bride present.
